Lori Loughlin Bio
Lori Loughlin is an American actress who was born on the 28th of July 1964 in New York City. Prior to becoming an actress, she was a junior lifeguard. She started her career at 12 as a print model. She worked as a television and print model in her teens. At the age of 15, she was cast in The Edge of Night (1956) as a dancer who was aspiring Jody Travis. She would later appear from 1980-1983. Her most well-known character is that of Rebecca DonalsonKatsopolis (1987) in which she starred in from 1988-1995. She was Ava Gregory on Summerland (2004) that she co-created and directed. She also played Gelsey Alexander Moondance Alexander (2007) which she starred in with Don Johnson, Kay Panabaker, James Best, Sasha Cohen and Whitney Sloan. Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli were among dozens of individuals charged by the FBI on March 12th, 2019. This was in connection to a massive college entrance exam fraud scheme. In particular, the indictment stated that her and her husband paid $500,000 disguised as a donation to the Key Worldwide Foundation, so that the University of Southern Calif.'s admissions committee was misled into believing that their two daughters were going to join the women's rowing team of the university if admitted, when in reality, neither of them has ever had any training in the sport and had no plans to do so. Loughlin was detained on March 13th by federal authorities in Los Angeles. She is accused of being involved in a multimillion-dollar college bribery scam. Loughlin was released on bail of $1 million during her appearance before Los Angeles Federal Court. Loughlin and her husband also gave up their passports during the April 3rd appearance at Boston Federal Court. They also waived the right to an initial hearing. In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty. They will be sentenced in August 2020, at which time the judge could order an order of imprisonment time, fines and community service. Following her arrest Loughlin was not permitted to go back to Fuller House.
