Mila Kunis Bio
Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. Kunis moved to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother), at seven years old. The Kunis family was not able to make it in America, despite having a modest the sum of $250. Kunis parents, who had to quit their jobs to begin a new life, wanted their children to have a better standard of living. Mark was a mechanical engineer, soon found work as a cab driver, while Elvira, who had taught physics in Ukraine and later became the manager of an establishment for pharmacy. Kunis stated that he didn't fully understand American culture when he first arrived in America. I didn't get the culture. I was not conversant in the language. My essay for college started with this line: "Imagine being blinded and deaf by 7 years old." It was kind of similar to being a newcomer to the States. But I got over it fairly quickly." Milena Markovna Kunis is daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was on the 14th of August, 1983. She has an older brother. Her mother works as an physics teacher, and her father owns a pharmacy. His father is a mechanical engineers by profession. Her family is Jewish. Her family relocated from Israel to Los Angeles when she turned seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her primary school. At nine years old she began taking acting lessons. After auditioning for several commercials and a variety of other commercials, she was a star in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. In 1998, she was given her first major role, in the role of Jackie Burkhart, in the hit sitcom "That 70s show". After getting rave reviews, she voiced the role of Meg Griffin, an animated sitcom.
