Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer, one of Israel's most popular actresses, is a truly special woman. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv and was first noticed by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first English-speaking role , Eric Bana’s wife in Munich (2005). Since moving to the United States, Zurer has appeared in Studio films like Sony Pictures' Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid and William Hurt and Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Pieces opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader's Adam Resurrected opposite Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion an ensemble Lawrence Kasdan cast that includes Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel opposite Russell Crow. Ewan McGregor filmed Rodrigo Garcia, Last Days in the Desert. She also has been waiting for the release date of The Last Knights, a film by Kazuaki Kiriya, starring Clive Owen. She recently received the Gold Nymph Award for Outstanding actor in the Drama Series at the 54th Festival of Television in Monte-Carlo for her role in the television series "Hostages". Ayelet was nominated for the Israeli Film and Television Academy Award for her part in Nina's Tragedies. She was nominated for her performances in the films Only Dogs Run Free (from the Holy Apple Field), Desperado, Rutenberg, and The Dybuk from Holy Apple Field. She was the winner of the Haifa International Film Festival critic prize and was awarded a starred on Haifa’s "film boulevard" for her achievements in the local and international arenas. Zurer was awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award, for her role in "In Treatment", a critically well-reviewed series of television that was adapted to American television by HBO. 2014 saw her being nominated for an apposite for the top drama of the year "Shtisel". She also received the award for best actresses in drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon who is faced with a life or death dilemma in Hostages. The series was telecast to BBC4 and Canal Plus as well as the American ABC. Golbary is among Israel's top women's fashion brands. It's the "face" of Golbary. Ayelet is a producer as well as writerand illustrator of two adult titles, "Shorts" and the bestseller "Badolina" written by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet has been working on number of her own projects in Israel and in the US and has expressed an the desire to collaborate with directors from across the globe as well as joining other unknown writers and directors as well as the well-known ones.
